As we evolve to accept ourselves, any sense of problems dissolves. Perception is a human creation. We experience what we choose. If you grow to love yourself unconditionally, the how you sense and feel changes.

Media and marketing companies witha commercial slant would like you to think you need new thingswhen what you already have is still working. It can be helpful to recall the phrase, "if it ain't broke, don't fix it (or buy a replacement)."

As you step back, it can become relatively easy to review necessities versus things you don't really need. Media messages aim to convince us that we are inadequate, needy, insecure, unsatisfied and unfulfilled. It is such messages that brainwash us into thinking we need things to compensate for our lacks when we really have none. These are illusions we create based on waht we're told. As you evolve to assume your beautiful, talented and have everything you need, you realize you can ignore the media messages and focus on being aware of all that you are.

Its interesting that we can condition ourselves to like or dislike anything. We condition ourselves based on external influences until the point we decide to step back and see things from a soul-level perspective.

It sounds as though you have a very positive and uplifting attitude about your life these days. That awakening you describe could turn out to have a domino effect. Its great to gain insight into your vision for a future which involves increased awareness. Keep up the great posts!

Its useful to establish goals. They can motivate us to even surpass our own assumed potential which can appear surprisingly limiting before we move beyond it. May the festive season and New Year 2008 bring you joy.

I move to a new state at least once a year, and as a result, I'm VERY streamlined when it comes to personal possessions. Have you considered switching to a paperless lifestyle, scanning all your documents and implementing an automatic backup solution like Mozy or JungleDisk?
